Christmas Commentaries
WHISTLE AND I'LL COME TO YOU
In this episode, Mr Jim Moon provides a hopefully illuminating commentary on the classic BBC TV adaptation of MR James's famous ghost story Oh Whistle and I'll Come To You My Lad. Directed by Dr Jonathan Miller, this short film version first screened in 1968 as part of the BBC art show Omnibus and would go one to inspire the creation of the BBC's classic annual series A Ghost Story for Christmas.

THE STALLS OF BARCHESTER
Directed by Lawrence Gordon Clark, and originally shown on Christmas Eve 1971, The Stalls of Barchester was the very first of the BBC's much loved A Ghost Story for Christmas series. Mr Jim hands round the mulled wine and mince pies, and fires up the old DVD player to give a commentary on this televisual incarnation of the famous ghost story by MR James.

A WARNING TO THE CURIOUS
We take a look back at the 1972 screen version of the classic tale directed by Lawrence Gordon Clark for the BBC A Ghost Story for Christmas series, starring Peter Vaughan and Clive Swift.

THE BOX OF DELIGHTS Part I
In the first of two special episodes, Mr Jim Moon revisits a Christmas classic - the much loved BBC adaptation of The Box of Delights by John Masefield. This episode covers Parts 1, 2 and 3.

THE BOX OF DELIGHTS Part 2
In the second of two special episodes, we cover Parts 4, 5 and 6 of The Box of Delights. Now let us go swift and continue our adventures!
