LEGEND = This is Mr Jim Moon. And this is Mr Tom Greenslade.
Right, starting with the tough questions first! During development, we've kicked about various descriptions...
For instance, we told the bank manager it was "an online new media platform" - which sounds suitably impressive. It's just a shame that no one knows what that actually means.
"An online art installation" is somewhat better, but still not quite right.
Perhaps it's a "digital literary collage".
That'll have to do!
It's what Lewis Carroll called a portmanteau word - a collison of two existing words which blends their meanings.
And the two words are...
...A secret! Where would the fun be in us just telling you?
One for you Mr Poet...
Ok, haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry. The basic rules are as follows - three lines of five, seven and five syllables, and often featuring seasonal or nature imagery. There are many variants out there but we followed mainly followed the basic version. If you decide to have a bash at writing some, be warned it is addictive!

Just explore the page with the mouse and they'll appear...
Originally yes, there were! But then we had one of our famous 'good ideas' and massivley increased the site size.
And our work load! Now on every poem page a secret link is hidden that will take you into the subconscious of the site.

..which we can't tell you without giving the game away. But we did hide a clue very early on.
Well I'm loathe to commit to an exact figure...
Our estimates of many pages we need to do has been wildy inaccurate at best so far.
However we're safely betting that the subconscious section will at least double in size before we wrap everything up.
As soon as we possibly can is the honest but unhelpful answer.
But we do plan on regularly adding new pages as soon as they are done - we know there's nothing more annoying than a site which only has new content when pigs are spotted on the wing.
We'll post updates when we add stuff on the NEWS pages. Any major changes will be reflected in the version number on the Woodwitches entrance page.
And we're looking at possibly doing something with a RSS feed.
By which he means, "Jim is going to have to mug up on the RSS malarky".
Yes, you're the technical one!
By which he means, "I'm a work-shy fop".
The next chapter is called "Half Moon Night".
And it's a second sequence of similarly illuminated haiku.
